2008 USA Diving Spring National Championships:
Three divers, John Geyer, Cosima and Felicitas Lenz participated in the USA Spring National Diving Championships in Minneapolis. Both John and Cosi made to the finals and end up 11th on the platform event. They did a fine performance competing against the country's very best divers and Olympic hopefuls. Congratulations!

2008 Junior West National Diving Championships: Ten divers, Tarek Abdelghany, Courtney & Raquel Corniuk, Dashiell Enos, John Geyer, Annika & Cosima Lenz, Bridget & Olivia Rosendahl, Madison Witt participated in the JO Western National Diving Championships in Columbia, MO.

We had some outstanding performances. Here are the top 12 finishers:

2008 USA Spring Regional Championships: Competing solo at the Regional 9, Tarek Abdelghany dominated the 12-13 age group by winning both 1m and 3m events. 11 out 13 divers competed at the Regional 10 and qualified to the Western National Championships scheduled on April 25-27 at Columbia, MO. A total of 8 gold medals won by Madison Witt (11 & under), Dashiell Enos (12-13), and Cosima Lenz & John Geyer (16-18). Other placed on top 6 and qualified are: Daria Lenz &  Bridget Rosendahl (11 & under), Raquel Corniuk & Olivia Rosendahl (12-13), Annika Lenz (14-15), Courtney Corniuk & Felicitas Lenz (16-18). Best of luck at the Western National Championships!

2007 USA Speedo Junior National Championships: Second best team in the country! Six Trojan divers made an impressive show at the 2007 USA Junior National Diving Championships this week at Mission Viejo.

All six of them,
Dashiell Enos, John Geyer, Annika, Cosima and Felicitas Lenz, and Olivia Rosendahl made not only to the finals but top 6 in the nation.

Here are the final standing:
13 & under:
Dashiell Enos: 3m - Bronze, 1m - 5th and platform - 6th
Annika Lenz: 3m and platform - Silvers, 1m - 7th
Olivia Rosendahl: platform - Bronze

14-15:
Cosima Lenz: platform - Bronze, 1m - 4th and 3m - 6th

16-18:
Felicitas Lenz: platform - 5th 
John Geyer: 3m – 4th, platform – 6th

Annika Lenz, Dashiell Enos and Olivia Rosendahl have qualified to represent the
USA to compete at the up coming PAM AM Games in November.

The Trojan Dive Club finished 2nd overall as team title in the country. Congratulations to all divers! We are very proud of your accomplishments!

2007 Western National Championships: Ten Trojan divers participated in the Western National Championships last weekend in Mission Video.

A special congratulations to
Olivia Rosendahl for winning the 11 & under 1m event and Cosima Lenz for winning the 14-15 3m event.

Here is the results:
11 & under:
Dashiell Enos: 2nd in both 1m & 3m events
Olivia Rosendahl: 1st in the 1m and 4th in the 3m

12-13:
Annika Lenz: 4th in the 3m & 6th in the 1m

14-15:
Cosima Lenz: 1st in the 3m & 3rd in the 1m
Courtney Corniuk: 18th in the 1m
Liana Diamond: 30 in the 1m and 3m

16-18:
Felicitas Lenz: 5th in the 3m & 8th in the 1m
John Geyer: 7th in the 3m & 11th in the 1m
Jamie Flynn: 23th in the 3m
Danny Gruen: 22 in the 3m

They have all competed well and the
team finished 4th overall due to they efforts.

2007 USA Senior Diving Championships: Five Trojan divers (3 club and 2 college) participated in the 2007 USA Diving Senior National Championships the past weekend.

1. Alexis DeMond
2. John Geyer
3. Cosima Lenz
4. Felicitas Lenz
5. Kim Popp

Being at the national senior level of competition first time in their diving career, three of our club team divers, Cosima, Felicitas and John advanced from qualifying competitions to championships for two individual events and one synchronized event.
Better than that, Cosima and Felicitas made it to and 3 m synchronized final event with John made it to the platform finals, competing against the nation's top competitors.

Kim from the college team also made finals in the platform event. Both John and Kim will be pre-qualified on the platform event to national this summer with Cosima and Felicitas will be pre-qualified on the 3 m synchronized event.

Job well done and congratulations!


2007 Spring Regional Championships: 10 out 15 team divers qualified from the regional championships to compete at the Western National Championships. The Western National Diving Championship covers half of the country's best junior Olympic divers. This meet is in Mission Viejo scheduled on April 27-29. BEST OF LUCK to all participants.

Speedo USA Junior National Championships: We won gold, silver and bronze medals!
Seven divers from the Trojan Dive Club have had a satisfied showing at the 2006 Speedo Junior National Diving Championships in Indianapolis.


13 & under:
Dashiell Enos and Annika Lenz:
Both are first time competed at this level of championships and have gained a wonderful experience. I foresee both will be in the finals next year.

14-15:

Felicitas Lenz
Although did not qualified to finals, she has shown a great promising for her talents and potential for the years to come.
John Geyer
Placed 6th off 3m springboard and 11th off platform. John competed one of his best consistent performance in the finals off 3m. He would be only stronger next year when this championship comes around.
Cosima Lenz (Bronze Medalist)
Our bronze medal winner off platform. Cosima did two of her best dives ever, the 403b and 5252b, both showed the ripping entry plus other consistent dives to win her bronze medal. She also had a nice performance off 3m springboard and end up 9th. Cosima just missed to the finals on 1m by one place. Looking to compete one more year in the age group of 14-15, Cosima will be one of the top competitors in the nation to be watch for.
Haley Ishimatsu (Gold Medalist)
Gold medal winner off platform. Haley competed the winning event after over 20 hours of traveling by air plane and car plus jet lack and time change from China. This winning event qualified Haley to represent USA to compete at the up coming World Junior Championships in August. She also placed 5th off 3m and 10th off 1m. What are sweet additional of accomplishments for Haley this year.

16-18
Tory Ishimatsu (Silver Medalist)
Winning both 1m and 3m springboards events during the preliminary. Tory had a successful competition overall. She end up won the silver medal off 1m and placed 4th off 3m. Tory definitely proving herself she one of the best divers in this championships and could be a champion.

USA Senior National Championships: Haley Ishimatsu won silver on 10 meter platform while Tory Ishimatsu placed 7th on 3 meter springboard, and Ariel Rittenhouse placed 11th on 3 meter springboard and won silver with Kelci Byrant on the synchronized diving.

At World Cup: Ariel Rittenhouse pairs up with Kelci Bryant for the three meter synchronized diving event and won the silver medal at the World Cup while Haley placed 14th in the ten meter platform event. Trojan Dive Club

John Geyer won the Championship in the one meter springboard event for his 14-15 age group at the Western National Championships.
